Ingredients

·        4 slices of bread (white, brown, or sourdough)

·        4 slices of cheddar cheese (or any melting cheese)

·        2 tablespoons butter (softened)

·        ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

·        A pinch of salt

Method

Step 1: Prepare the bread

Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice. Sprinkle a light pinch of garlic powder over the buttered side for extra flavor if desired.

Step 2: Assemble the sandwich

Place a cheese slice between two bread slices with the buttered sides facing outward. Repeat with the second sandwich.

Step 3: Heat the pan

Place a skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat. Let it warm up for about 1–2 minutes.

Step 4: Grill the sandwich

Place the prepared sandwich in the pan. Cook for 2–3 minutes on one side until golden brown and crispy. Flip carefully and cook the other side until the cheese inside melts completely.

Step 5: Serve

Remove from the pan, slice diagonally, and serve hot with ketchup, mayonnaise, or soup.

For an extra cheesy pull, mix different types of cheese such as mozzarella, cheddar, and gouda. Always cook on medium heat to allow the cheese to melt properly without burning the bread.
