Ingredients

For the Egg Mixture:
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 green chili (finely chopped, optional)
2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

For Toasting:
4 slices of bread (white or brown)
1 tbsp oil or butter for frying

 

Step-by-Step Method

Step 1: In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs and milk until well combined
Step 2: Add chopped onion, green chili, coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well
Step 3: Heat a non-stick pan over medium flame and add a little oil or butter
Step 4: Dip one bread slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides well
Step 5: Place it on the hot pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden and crisp
Step 6: Repeat the process for remaining bread slices
Step 7: Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup

 

Manish Tip: For added flavor and crunch, you can add grated carrot, chopped tomato, or bell pepper to the egg mixture
