Ingredients

For the Marinade:

·        500g boneless chicken (cut into cubes)

·        3 tbsp yogurt

·        2 tbsp lemon juice

·        2 tbsp BBQ sauce

·        1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

·        1 tsp paprika

·        1 tsp cumin powder

·        Salt and pepper to taste

For Grilling:

·        1 onion (quartered)

·        1 bell pepper (cut into cubes)

·        1 tbsp oil (for brushing)

·        Wooden or metal skewers

 Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions

1.     Marinate the Chicken:
In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, BBQ sauce, ginger-garlic paste, paprika, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken cubes and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).

2.     Prepare the Skewers:
Thread marinated chicken pieces alternately with onion and bell pepper onto the skewers.

3.     Preheat and Grill:
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the surface with oil.

4.     Grill Skewers:
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is nicely charred and cooked through.

5.     Serve Hot:
Serve with green chutney, lemon wedges, or mint yogurt dip.

Tips by Manish :

Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent them from burning on the grill.
